❤ A lot of the other Legends were entirely perplexed as to how you and Octane became a couple. It’s not that you didn’t get along, it was just… Well, you two couldn’t be further from each other in the outward demeanor spectrum.
❤ Octane was loud and brash, almost always in someone’s face with his high energy. Even without his stim, he was constantly on the move and practically unable to stay in one place for too long. Sometimes his attention span was nonexistent.
❤ You, on the other hand, were pretty quiet and laid back. Your personality leaned a bit on the shier side, but you were always friendly with fellow Legends. Next to Octane, you practically lived your life and a snail’s pace, and yet you two were together somehow. It really was a mystery to many people.
❤ You both had this weird way of clicking even though your personalities couldn’t be any further apart. Plenty of regular viewers of the games thought it was awfully cute when you guys were on screen.
❤ Octane quickly built the habit of rushing over to your side, cheekily pointing at his face for a kiss before bolting off at high speeds with renewed ferocity while you hung back. You would always wave lazily after him even though he was long gone.
❤ There were times when Octane could slow down for you too. He’d stick by your side, held back only by your fingers laced together with his own. He’d stop jittering when you’d lean your head against his shoulder, not wanting to make you uncomfortable.
❤ No one could keep up with Octane, but there were days you’d try. You’d always fall several feet behind, but he’d be thrilled to know you were right behind him.
❤ Because of this, piggyback rides are absolutely a thing for Octavio. You can’t keep up? No problemo! He’ll have you on his back faster than you can blink and be taking off to who knows where. Your arms will wrap tightly around his shoulder and you’ll press your face into the back of his neck. He loves it.
❤ A lot of the legends often request you in their teams when they have Octane because you’re just about the only one who can reel him in. You are literally the only thing keeping that speed demon from bolting off during matches.
❤ If anything, your calming presence is more than enough to diffuse some of Octavio’s hyperactive personality. When you’re around, he just tends to mellow out a bit more… You’ve also become a person of high demand when his legs need fixing because of this.

Caustic is a fickle man. He wants things to be precisely as he intends them to be. He strives for nothing if not accuracy in his results.
Caustic is not the most attentive lover. To this, he’ll freely admit. He sometimes wonders, deep in his work, why you waste your time with him. He adores you, of course. You make him feel things he’d not thought himself capable of for many years. But there are only so many hours in a day, and he’s unable, and sometimes unwilling, to devote many of them to you. When he does occasionally make his way to bed in odd hours of the night, he’s too exhausted to do much more than throw an arm over you and pass out.
But when he’s decided he wants you, there’s little that can stand in his way.
Make no mistake. One word from you, and it could all be over. But therein is another thing he adores about you— you never feel the need. There are times when he gets into these obsessive moods— where he’s as fascinated by your body as he is by his work.
He’s definitely the kind of guy to fall head over heels for someone, usual quips with more stuttering than before. It’s mortifying each time he fails to be smooth around you.
However, when that smile reaches your face and you laugh, his ever-trailing sentences end and he just stares at your expression with starry eyes.

Before dating you, there’s this adjustment period for him. He overthinks a lot and he doesn’t want to screw anything up.

Be his biggest fan, wearing all of his merch and calling him afterward. Whether he wins or loses, you’ll do your best to make sure he knows he’s the best.
Hold him. You’d be surprised how touch-starved he is.
He sleeps like a dead body, sprawled out over the bed and tangling his limbs with yours.
He’s a decent cook but he constantly has to check the recipe since he keeps forgetting the instructions. That or he just eyeballs the ingredients and accidentally commits culinary war crimes.
If you’re not in the Apex Games, catch him leaving one of his prized holograms at your place, his decoy paying you company.
Endless video-calls. Elliot is awful with technology but he always makes an effort to call you. He constantly makes unscheduled appointments, beaming as he waits to see you.
For nightly calls, he’s the kind of guy to stay on the line so he can fall asleep in your presence. Whenever he’s away from you, it’s the highlight of his evenings.
Be there for him each time he calls his Mom, Mirage bitterly disappointed that his efforts won’t help her remember him.
Elliot has some issues with being forgotten and crippling loneliness in general.
He can be very clingy and has trouble finding balance between what he wants and what makes others approve of him. Very peer-pressure sensitive.
Don’t be his anchor, establish a mutual support system where you both can be there for each other.
